come walk with us…

Dad for blog 2

Please pray for me (Tony) as I leave today for Dad’s funeral tomorrow in Texas. I will be doing the eulogy and reflecting back on his 85 years here on Earth. Although I know he’s in heaven now because he accepted God’s free gift of forgiveness for his sins, it’s still hard to say, “see you in heaven” (not goodbye because the Bible says we will be reunited again in heaven). Wonder if he’ll look like he did here for his high school graduation?

Please pray for our family, for safety in travel and that God will be lifted up in the midst of our grief.

Dear Tony, Gwen, Jensina and Jiana,

You are all in our thoughts and prayers. We are praying that God will grant you an extra measure of His Peace in your hearts at this time and Tony, may He give you the words that need to be spoken at your dad’s service tomorrow. We are reminded again that there is no greater blessing and no higher honor than to “know Christ and to make Him known.”
    In Christian Sympathy,

    Brian & Linda Gring
