Jiana, Gwen, Tony and Jensina Martin
We are Christian missionaries in Luleå, Sweden where we are working with a Swedish denomination trying to start new churches throughout Sweden. We’ve started a house church during our first term and are currently back in the States to raise additional funds. When we return, Tony will be a church planting coach and will come along side others throughout Sweden to plant God-delighting, world-surprising churches. We will also train local church leaders and minister to others in their faith journey.
Our passion is to see the people of Sweden turn back to God and we envision planting healthy churches that will plant other healthy churches.

I had met Gwen at Bancroft in the early 80s-
And have been receiving your prayer letter, and praying for you. You were on my heart this morning, and I checked your blog. So thankful for all your dedication to building the church in Sweden and serving the Lord. I remember Gwen’s dear father visiting my grandpa and encouraging him!

This is Tony and I’m finally replying to you after 15 months! After Gwen’s death, I had not looked at this blog until now. When I lost Gwen, so many things changed for our family and ministry. It took me more than 6 months to get over the constant grief, and even now (over 18 months later), it’s still difficult.
Anyway, I have permanently moved back to the US in PA and I help to lead a house church network here – basically the same ministry I had in northern Sweden. I am getting ready to send out my first newsletter and to probably restart a blog/website, although I’m not sure if I’ll keep this name or use a fresh one. If you’d like to remain on our mailing list, please send me your mailing address as well as your email address so I can include you on the list.
